Magizine Update
Hey y'all, we are nearing the end of the magazine process. We have sent our proof to mag cloud and it should be here in three days. The whole group is stressed because it is crunch time and we have a lot to work on. We still need a cover page and to work on our folio and other things. The master page still isn't complete and we have to decide on a color for each section( food, music, and art). I have confidence that we are going to get it done. We just have a few minor things to work on but those are easily fixable. Ms. Young is still grading things so I don't know what I can do to make my feature story better.
Marbles, Stephine, and Cam are all working just as hard...maybe harder, than me. We don't have much to work on besides our ASF. For mine I am doing a black out poem about change. I like it. I think is is pretty good. Some other people think it is good too.
I really hope our magazine is good because to spend all this time and then have a crappy magazine would be a real disappointment.

Flip Happy :)
Yes, Austin has endless food trailers; from tacos, to Vietnamese, to cupcakes, to everything in a cone- there is never a shortage of quick places to grab a bite. And one of these Austin trailers offers crepes, yes dear reader, crepes. Flip Happy is located one block away from Romeo’s off of Barton Springs road on 400 Josephine Street 78704. Hidden between newly built condos and several other restaurants located near downtown, Flip Happy’s odd hours do not even begin to decrease the amount of customers that flood in on the rare days and strange times that they are open. This all-crepe-trailer offers lunch and dinner crepes, or what they call their ‘savory crepes’, and dessert crepes, or ‘sweet crepes’. Their ‘savory crepes’ include a roasted chicken crepe with caramelized onions and goat cheese to a smoked salmon crepe with herbed cream cheese and tomato that will make you want to never eat salmon another way again. Their ‘sweet crepes’ are delicious and endless, and of course include the all-famous crepe with nutella- which Flip Happy’s addition of your choice of fresh fruit, and my all-time favorite being the lemon curd with blueberry dressing. Although you may encounter a bit of a line Flip Happy’s friendly Austin environment definitely makes the wait enjoyable and well worth it. This unique crepe trailer is definitely on the top of my list of Austins best food trailers, check it out!

Five Guys Burger and Fries
The first thing I notice when I walk through the double glass doors is the red and white tiles decorating the restaurant. I hear the clamor from the five guys working in the kitchen. I walk up to the counter to be met by a perky cashier wearing a bright red shirt and cap. Smiling, she asks for my order. I decide to order the typical burger and fries. I am given a number, and I walk to one of the tables. As I wait, I curiously look at a stack of cardboard boxes next to me filled with peanuts. I grab a metal shovel and dig out a couple of peanuts to munch during the wait. My growling stomach is quenched for the time being. After about ten minutes, my number is finally called. I jump up, and speed walk towards the counter. I receive a brown paper bag with my hamburger and fries; a warm salty aroma is emitted from the bag. I feel faint. I walk outside where there are a series of tables that litter the outside of the restaurant. I sit under the shade, with the wind blowing, loving the fall weather in Austin . I unwrap the foil covering my hamburger, and take a huge bite from it, getting lettuce all over my table, juice dripping down my fingers. Despite the fact that I am eating what is thought to be the reason why America is such an obese country, I can’t help but throw away any regrets and just enjoy my delicious burger.

"Jenny & Johnny"
Hey there!
For those who love music, want to see cool new bands; all playing almost everyday here in Austin.
Jenny & Johnny is a duo featuring two great artists, they play indie rock, indie folk, and alternative country. It's pretty amazing to see how much the music scene has grown here in Austin. We now have artists from all over the nation, this one happens to be from California. Jenny and Johnny happen to be playing TONIGHT, that's right. The night before the day after today. NOVEMBER 2nd. They're playing tonight at Emo's and if you are into good music, and looking to make cool different experiences, I suggest you go. Personally I'm not going because I wouldn't be allowed in...But... I still suggest that people out there support their local Austin music society, enjoy the music, maybe have a couple of friends with them, and just all around chill. This band is a newly made group that's only released one album in 2010. They play new music that energizes the public with their good melodies and amazing voices.
I do suggest you go there, support the Austin music community, and maybe even learn more about Jenny and Johnny.
